How Visual handles your data sources

When you connect a data source, Visual may read schema information (such as table and column names and types) to help generate queries and charts. Visual only queries data when you request an analysis or chart. Query results may be stored to support features like history, sharing, exports, and performance.

You can mark visualizations as private or public depending on your settings. If you publish or share a visualization, it may be accessible to others according to the link and permissions you choose.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and your plan.
