Visual is an AI agent that turns natural language into SQL queries and beautiful visualizations. Upload a CSV, ask a question, and get charts with key insights in seconds.

Traditional BI tools require SQL knowledge, complex drag-and-drop interfaces, and weeks of setup. Visual eliminates all of that. Just describe what you want to see.

How it works

When you ask a question, Visual's AI agent follows a structured workflow:

1. Explore — reads your schema, samples rows, understands column types and distributions.
2. Analyze — runs aggregations, finds patterns, detects anomalies.
3. Plan — chooses the right chart type based on your data and question.
4. Generate — produces charts with clear titles, labels, and key insight callouts.

You can refine the output with follow-up questions. Ask to change the chart type, add filters, drill down into a segment, or compare time periods.

Built for speed

The core of Visual is the Momentum charting engine — a custom D3-based library designed for fast, smooth, interactive charts. Data is stored in Parquet format and queried with DuckDB, an embeddable analytical database optimized for aggregations.

Collaboration

Create a team to share visualizations with colleagues. Organize work into projects. Every visualization has a version history, so you can see how it evolved over time.
